Amrut Distilleries
A titan of the Indian spirits industry since 1948, Amrut Distilleries shares a history as old as independent India. (It is also the first distillery in India to export single malt whisky, making them the flag bearers of this category.) Crafted in the vibrant city of Bengaluru, the distillery produces a number of award-winning Indian whiskies and has malts available in 44 countries. They also produce a delicious gin.

“Setting foot in the Amrut distillery felt momentous. The highlight of our visit, hosted by Lenin and Pranish, was the rare chance to taste single cask, single malt from the barrel. Sadly we couldn’t sneak that onto our flight home, but we’ve assembled a selection of their well-balanced whiskies, and the special Nilgiris gin, to give you a taster of Amrut’s impeccable range.”
