The passion for tea truly transcends borders - a fact exemplified by Tea N Teas. Muskan Khanna is at the helm of this innovative concept. And she has big shoes to fill: the founder is none other than her father Indi Khanna, an industry stalwart who has been working in the world of tea for over 45 years. It’s a challenge she’s excelling at, and the proof is in the teapot.
Brought to life by a team of tea experts spanning three continents, Tea N Teas is based in Coonoor, and nestled in the Nilgiri Mountain range.
Their microfactory is dedicated to artisanal crafting of whole leaf teas. These include the never-done-before Nilgiri Bamboo tea, for which Muskan was recognised as Innovator of the Year and she has received a patent for her pioneering process.

“We spent twice as long as planned with Muskan and her father at their magnificent operation. Easily done, as the conversation was as engaging as the tea was tasty. A notable factor is their regard for the surrounding community: the all-female enterprise purchases tea leaves from local farmers at a higher-than-usual buying price to ensure fair payment. The real innovation here is in the small batch production, using modern Chinese machinery, the team’s care, and Muskan’s enterprising nature to create distinctive teas.”
