Moonshine Meadery

As the first meads out of India and Asia as a whole, the team at Moonshine Meadery are trailblazers in their own right. What started as bootlegging meads under the guidance of Reddit has turned into a fully functioning meadery selling meads across the country. 

Now, they produce an array of flavoured meads and even produce their own honey - although they primarily bring in honey from other suppliers, including one harvested by tribes living in protected forests (such as the Soliga tribe in Karnataka).

“While we were unable to meet their Chief Beekeeper who manages the on-site beehives at Moonshine Meadery, we were treated to a tour of the facility by Rohan (cofounder) and Archish (new product development). Their range of flavours were indeed exciting to discover, and we settled on our top 4 to add to our emporium.”
