John Distilleries

Established by founder Paul P John in 1996, John Distilleries is home to some of India’s leading alcohol brands. Under their umbrella sits ‘The Great Indian Single Malt’: Paul John Whisky. With carefully sourced indigenous ingredients including 6-row barley from Haryana and Rajasthan and water flowing through the Western Ghats, this whisky is Asia’s most awarded single malt.

Also part of our emporium is Malhar, their Indian craft gin. Dedicated to the Indian classical ragas that celebrate monsoon season, the zesty Citrus Gin and the floral Classic Dry Gin are pitch perfect pours.

“As if sampling eight well-rounded whiskies during one tasting wasn’t enough during our visit, hosted by Bhavish the Visitor Centre manager, we also got to sample the Malhar Gins range, guided by Tanvi who is in charge of gin production. Each sip was a glowing testament to their careful process and quality ingredients. Our taste buds were unequivocally united in our decision to stock them on our return.”
