Camikara 12 Year Old

Camikara is an ode to Indian farmers who have been growing and distilling sugarcane juice for thousands of years. This rum was rediscovered and matured for 12 long years. During maturation, the greedy angels have consumed a generous 94% of the liquid, leaving us with just 6% to cherish.

On the nose you are greeted with a bouquet of aromas: honey, ginger, toffee, raisins, prunes & leather. A deeper whiff reveals the wood.

On the palate the first sip brings a marriage of honey, vanilla and bitter chocolate. Further savouring reveals ripe bananas, orange peel, dark chocolate and charred wood.

At the finish, when you put down the glass, you will be left with a mouthful of delicious fruit cake, making you want for more. This is a complex sipping rum, best enjoyed neat.
